Farm Visits and Farm Camp

Our farm has an open door policy. We encourage anyone interested in learning about our production methods or to just visit the cattle to stop by for a "pasture walk". This is offered as a method for us to showcase what we do as a unique and individual farm and a service that is offered at no charge.

We have had an increasing number of people want to bring out their children for a day on the farm and in 2012, we had our first farm camp graduates! It has been an exciting transition to see the smiles and excitement on the peoples faces as they come to spend time around the farm.

We are passionate and dedicated to the "calmness" of our herd of cattle. If you would like your young children to attend, we encourage one adult per child for kids under the age of 10. Our tours and camps involve hands on petting of cattle, gathering of eggs, milking (if the appointments are set according to our milking schedule and age appropriate) and feeding of locally produced grains to our poultry.

We highlight these "visits" on our farm facebook page as well, with permission of course.

Additional future classes will be held for cheese making, butter churning and on farm poultry processing. If you have any interest or suggestions, contact us to discuss the options available for development.
